A long-term interest in natural healing led to a specific interest in homeopathy because of the depth and the nature of the classical homeopathic process, its application of clear guiding principles in practice and its wholistic, non-violent approach to the restoration of wellbeing.

To my practice and my work with patients I bring many years experience of working with people from diverse backgrounds in a counseling and guidance practice, a strong interest in the arts, a background in science and a practice of meditation. As a registered member of the Society of Homoeopaths I follow the professional Code of Ethics and Practice including undertaking regular supervision.
The homeopathic consultation involves asking about your health in detail. So in addition to a patient’s complaint I ask about medical history, lifestyle, temperament, sleep, energy levels and key life experiences. This information helps me to understand and treat the ailment with a remedy selected for the whole person as an individual with their own specific symptoms.
A first consultation lasts 1 ½ hours with follow–up consultations of 45 minutes. Consultations for children are shorter. Follow-up appointments are arranged three to six weeks apart.
The length of treatment is an individual process, dependent on the patients’ whole state of health. Some complaints get better quickly; long-standing symptoms may take time to heal. However it is better to be patient and to be cured of the cause of illness which lies at the heart of Homoeopathic treatment, than simply eradicating symptoms.
