Reflexology
This deeply relaxing and wonderfully therapeutic session works by applying firm pressure to the reflex points of the feet. Working the reflex points in this way stimulates nerve supply and blood flow, bringing balance and a more natural functioning to all the body's systems. Cleansing the body of toxins, reducing stress, inducing deep relaxation and revitalising energy levels.
Reflexology can be used as a preventative form of health care in addition to helping a wide range of health problems, including:
headaches and Migraines
Sinus conditions Digestive disorders
Menstrual problems
Back Pain
Sleeplessness
Exhaustion
General Stress
Traditional Thai Yoga Massage
With the receiver full clothed and the massage being given on a futon mattress, Traditional Thai Yoga Massage combines acupressure massage techniques and gently stretches. It is a 'top to toe' massage focusing on all areas of the body. The energy balancing qualities of the massage leaves the receiver feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Traditional Thai Yoga Massage helps as a preventative form of health care through restoring energy and balance within the body and will also help to:
improve posture
enhance blood circulation

Holistic Swedish Massage
Using a series of techniques to manipulate, stretch and relieve muscle tension, holistic Swedish massage is given applying base oils, including olive and avocado to the receivers skin. These techniques help to break down both muscular and emotional tension, leaving the receiver feeling deeply relaxed and bringing about an overall feeling of balance and well being. The stress- relieving properties of massage can be used as a preventative form of health care and can also help to: improve posture, enhance blood circulation, treat muscle and joint pains, improve body alignment, enhance joint flexibility and tone muscles.
Seated Acupressure massage
Based on traditional Japanese acupressure, this unique massage is both a calming and revitalising treatment, which can help to relieve minor aches and pains whilst restoring energy levels. Given in a specially desinged chair with the client fully clothed points are worked on the head, neck, shoulders, back and arms and hands bringing about a feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Originally designed for use at the work place, seated acupressure massage can create a new dynamic at your office or events with both the 30 and 15 minute treatments being very popular. Thirty minute treatments are offered in Tom's private practice at Muswell Healing Arts. " A wonderful instant pick -me-up!"
